Summary and plotline

Preachers’s Daughter is a documentary style reality TV series that follows four pastors’ daughters and their families as they balance their own expectations with those of their parents for a wholesome and fulfilling religious life. Created by Thinkfactory Media and produced by Adam Reed, Emily Sinclair, Aaron Fishman and Leslie Greif, series one of Preacher’s Daughter debuted on Lifetime on March 12, 2013 and recently wrapped up its third season.

The latest installment in the series pivots on nine girls who leave their homes to pursue missionary work in Mexico. However, their newfound freedom will test the girls’ convictions as they trek across the beautiful and alluring town of Cabo San Lucas. Will the girls stay true to their religious values? Or will they give into temptation that lurks behind every corner of the majestic Mexican city? Drama unfolds throughout the 11 episodes of Preachers’s Daughters season 3, culminating with life-changing decisions and a final episode appropriately titled Judgement Day.

Drawing an average of 0.78 million viewers per episode, the third season of the show has maintained decent ratings with a 6.1 out of 10 on IMDb.
