Twinning is a new American reality TV show that features twelves sets of identical twins, testing their intuitive skills in mental and physical challenges. Created by Lighthearted Entertainment and hosted by Angie Greenup, the series debuted on VH1 on July 22, 2015.
In a groundbreaking competition series, Twinning challenges identical twins to find out who really have the greatest “twintuition” with the winners splitting $222,222.22 in grand prize money. Each week, the contestants compete in challenges that advance them in to the next round, but we all know that competition is not really the name of the game — drama is.
Season 1 of Twinning brought viewers double the hook-ups, double the meltdowns, and double the dramatic twists as contestants pushed themselves, and their twin siblings, to the limits in an effort to win the money and title. Relationships were tested and resentments were exposed, as each set of twins revealed their strengths and weaknesses. Ultimately, Shawn and Claire took home the grand prize. While the show managed to average about half-a-million viewers per episode, there have been no announcements from VH1 regarding a possible renewal of Twinning for season 2. Fans will have to hold tight and check back for more updated information as it becomes available.
