Booze Traveler is an American travel and food-related documentary TV series that chronicles the world’s unique beverages and age-old drinking traditions. Co-produced by Karga Seven Pictures and White Reindeer Productions, season 1 of the series debuted on the Travel Channel on November 18, 2014.

Host Jack Maxwell takes Booze Traveler viewers on a wonderful journey around the world to discover the most interesting drinks and get to know the people who drink them. Maxwell’s interest not just in the drink itself, but also the places, customs and cultures behind it, lands him in Hungary, Greece, Italy and Tanzania. The show was originally green-lit for 16 one hour episodes, and was renewed for a second season due to high ratings and loyal fan base.

Season 2 of Booze Traveler premiered on September 28, 2015 with a season premiere that had Maxwell traveling to Green to sample a distilled pomace liquor flavored with anise called tsipouro, and a white wine flavored with pine sap known as retsina. The show is slated to air for 16 episodes during which Maxwell will discover freshly brewed beers and homemade spirits in Argentina, Guatemala, Hawaii, India, New Zealand, the Philippines, Finland and Texas. So will there be a Booze Traveler season 3? It’s still too early to tell, so fans will need to sit tight to find out.
