Produced by Electus and Entertainment By Bonnie and Clyde, Dog and Beth: On the Hunt is an American reality television series that focuses on the life and work of a bounty hunter Duane “Dog” Chapman, his wife Beth Chapman, and their son Leland Chapman. Season 3 of the series premiered on CMT on July 18, 2015.

After a successful 8-season run of his show on A&E, Duane “Dog” Chapman decided to take his people-tracking skills to CMT and show the world, yet again, what he and his wife Beth are capable of. Unlike his show on A&E, where he stayed on his home turf in Hawaii, On the Hunt takes Dog, Beth and their son Leland to different cities and towns each week, where they meet the local bail bondsmen and work with them, using years of experience and successful techniques, in apprehending fugitives. Each week, the three motivate and inspire local businessmen, train them and show them new technologies available in the business of writing bonds and tracking criminals.

So far, the series has received mediocre reviews (5.5 out of 10 on IMDb, for example) and no true critical acclaim. But then again, would a show about bounty hunters get acclaim? Possibly not. Considering that Dog has been on the air since 2004, it is quite possible that he will return after season 3 of his current show. If so, we will see Dog and Beth: On the Hunt Season 4 some time in the near future.
