Produced by Joseph Boyle, Mark Kadin and Will Ehbrecht for the Discovery Channel, Treasure Quest: Snake Island is an American reality TV series that follows a crew of divers and explorers on a quest to find lost Incan gold on an island off the coast of Brazil. Season 1 of Treasure Quest: Snake Island premiered in the US on Discovery on July 18, 2015 and in Australia on Discovery Channel Australia on September 1, 2015.

In this series, a team of treasure hunters led by Cork Graham attempt to find the Treasure of the Trinity, which was lost in 1524, on an island that is infested with golden lancehead pit vipers. There has not been any official news from the network on the fate of the show. Although treasure hunt series are usually quite popular, Snake Island has not enjoyed very high ratings – around 6 out of 10 on IMDb. However, since the gold was not found in the first season and only a small trace of it was discovered so far, it is very possible that we will see Treasure Quest: Snake Island Season 2 some time in the future.
