About the show
Produced by FremantieMedia and Purveyors of Pop, Married to Medicine is an American reality television series that follows the lives of socialite women of Atlanta who either work as doctors, or are married to doctors. These women have many patients, but not enough patience to deal with many things that come their way. Receiving decent viewer ratings, Married to Medicine Season 3 premiered on Bravo on June 7, 2015.
In the third season, Dr. Walters, Dr. Whitmore, Dr. Kimes, Quad Webb-Lunceford, Lisa Nicole Cloud and Toya Bush Harris blur the lines between their professional and personal lives. Dr. Walters starts a fitness program, Dr. Whitmore tries to figure out why she has so much anger, Dr. Kimes juggles her life being a dentist, relationship expert, mother and entrepreneur, and Quad, Lisa and Toya are on a mission to prove that they are not simply doctors’ wives.
Critical response and renewal hopes
Although some have been against this show, stating that it associates Black females with catfights and materialism, Married to Medicine has kept a steady audience base and received favorable reviews. At this moment, Bravo hasn’t released any official news on the fate of the series, but we believe that it’s quite possible that we will see Married to Medicine Season 4 in the future.
