Production info and storyline
An American comedy television series on Bounce TV, Mann and Wife has been on the air since April 7, 2015. The show is currently in its second season which premiered on April 5, 2016. The show is produced by Bobbcat Films and created by David Mann, Tamela Mann and Roger M. Bobb and stars the real-life married couple David and Tamela Mann. On April 13, 2016 the program has been renewed for a third season.
David and Tamela play Daniel and Toni Mann, a police officer and a teacher in a blended family with four children. The usual trials and tribulations of family life are portrayed in the series, as well as the especially tricky situations that result from the modern Brady bunch-like blended family gathered under one roof. Daniel has two boys, and Toni is a mother of two girls from previous marriages, and the adjustment of all the family members to living with each other makes for many comedic situations.
Excellent ratings and renewal prospects
The second episode of Mann and Wife`s first season last year turned out to be the most watched original program on the Bounce TV network with 1.3 million viewers. The current season premiere on April 5, 2016 drew almost a million viewers to the small screen, breaking records for ratings in the key demos. It was among the top three programs in its Tuesday night time slot in African American demographics across all add-supported cable channels. The Mann couple are no strangers to TV, and this series is one of their successful ventures with great potential. A release datel announcement is to be expected, so please stay tuned.
