Summary and plot

Jessica Jones is a new American superhero web drama series available exclusively through the online streaming media Netflix. Created by Melissa Rosenberg and based on the Marvel Comics character by the same name, all episodes of season 1 were available on Netflix on November 20, 2015.

Set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and sharing some sort of continuing between the films of the franchise and the series of shows that followed it, Jessica Jones follows a tragic end to a brief superhero career who has now rebuild her life a private investigator. Krysten Ritter (Confessions of a Shopaholic) stars as Jessica Jones a former superhero suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder and decides to open her own PI agency.

A complete set of 13 episodes of Jessica Jones were available for viewing as of the premiered date so fans could binge watch to their hearts desire. Garnering mostly positive attention from critics and viewers alike, this series has been a big hit — as many original Netflix shows have been.
