About the show
Henry Danger is an American sitcom television series that tells the story of a kid who gets a part-time job as a superhero’s sidekick and must keep the details of his new gig a secret. Created by Dan Schneider and Dana Olsen, the show originally premiered in 2014, and season 3 debuted on September 17, 2016.
When 13-year old Henry Hart lands a part-time job as Kid Danger, a sidekick to well known superhero Captain Man, he is forced to keep it a secret from his best friends Charlotte and Jasper, his parents, and younger sister Piper. The third season opens with Henry and Ray looking for a way to save their friends from a piñata full of killer bees.
Current season and renewal potential
Henry Danger was initially picked up by the network for just 20 episodes, but due to the show’s popularity was quickly renewed for a second season. Following a successful U.S. debut, the series expanded their viewership and fanbase to Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the U.K. and Ireland. The series is a strong performer, with averages close to 2 million viewers per episode and garnered a Favorite TV Show nomination at the 2015 Kids’ Choice Awards. The current third season opened to 1.82 million viewers, while the two subsequent episodes attracted 1.9 and 1.6 million viewers. Michael D. Cohen, Courtney Henggeler, Carrie Barrett, Saylor Bell and Winston Story are among the guest stars for the current season. With fairly strong ratings, Henry Danger may very well be picked up for season 4. Viewers will have to stay tuned to find out.

UPDATED November 15, 2016: This just in! Incredible news for the fans of the teen superhero Henry Danger! Following the top-notch ratings of the recent hour-long special Hour of Power that aired on November 11, 2016 and managed to attract 3.15 million viewers, which is the largest number ever for the show, another special is announced. The upcoming special episode titled Double Danger will air in December 2016, exact date to be released later. Stay tuned for further network announcements!
