Glitch is an Australian drama television series starring Patrcik Brammall and Emma Booth. The series follows the investigation of Sergeant James Hayes, as he goes deep into the mystery of the rising dead. The first season consists of six 55-minute episodes and premiered on ABC1 on July 9, 2015.

Imagine what would happen if one day a dead relative of yours came back to life in perfect health. Now imagine living in a small town with six of its thought-to-be-deceased community members suddenly turning up alive. This is exactly what happened in the town of Yoorana, Australia, where Sergeant Hayes was called in the middle of the night to the local cemetery to discover that six people came up from their graves and are now alive and perfectly well. To Hayes that presents a problem, much like the fact that they don’t remember anything about themselves. Now it’s his job to figure out if this is voodoo, some type of a disease, or something else...

Since its release, Glitch has enjoyed high viewer ratings and critical acclaim. The series is enticing and thrilling, as we watch Hayes trying to solve the puzzle, while hiding what happened from the wider public. The secret is not anywhere to be unveiled, which is why it’s not surprising that the network has already announced its plans to renew the series. Thus, we should see Glitch Season 2 some time in 2016.
