About the series

Rich Kids of Beverly Hills is an American television docuseries that follows the lives of several young millionaires and billionaires who have inherited their wealth and are now trying to find their place in this world. The series originally aired on E! in March of 2014 and features some of LA’s famous youths, including Taylor-Ann Hasselhoff. Rich Kids of Beverly Hills season 4 premiered on E! on May 1, 2016.

Although we may think that the rich and the famous have no problems in life, this series proves us all wrong. Here, seven twenty-something millionaires of the richest neighborhood in Beverly Hills, California have the same types of problems most of us have and can relate to – career ups and downs, romantic trouble, entrepreneurial endeavors and emotional roller coasters. In season 3, continue to struggle with their parents, party hard, and at times, work even harder.

Current season, ratings and renewal chances

Much attention in the new eight-episode run is devoted to Morgan Stewart and Brendan Fitzpatrick`s upcoming wedding. The other cast members - Dorothy, Roxy, Jonny, Earvin and Taylor-Ann are all coming back, plus there is an addition to the main cast – dramatic Bianca Weiser Espada is here to stir things up a bit on the series.

Since the day it aired, this series has received largely negative reviews, with some saying that the stars of the show are ‘as boring as they are rich’. Scoring only 3.5 out of 10 on IMDb, Rich Kids of Beverly Hills is possibly one of the lowest rated series on E!. However, who knows, it might be picked up for renewal once again for reasons other than ratings – whatever those might be for a network executive. Season 4 recap

The 8-episode season 4 of reality series #Rich Kids of Beverly Hills has bowed out on E! on June 19, 2016. Much of the fourth season has focused on the upcoming Morgan and Brendan`s wedding, building up to the last episode, which featured the last preparations and the wedding itself. Another storyline that was crucial to the final episode was the bumpy relationship between Morgan and Dorothy, who was offended by Morgan`s malicious comments. The season finale viewership was not particularly strong, down 0.08 to a 0.27 demo rating in the 18-49 group. Perhaps, it has done a bit better if a younger demographic was assessed, but it was never a hit in the ratings department to begin with. Will there be another season of #Rich Kids of Beverly Hills in the future? That remains to be seen, and while there is an audience for the rich and famous-themed reality shows, this crew might be overstaying their welcome.
