Series information and storyline

People Just Do Nothing is a British mockumentary sitcom that started as a YouTube series in 2010, and was commissioned by BBC, beginning its broadcast on BBC Three in 2014. The current series premiered on the digital-only BBC Three and will later air on BBC Two. The series was created and written by Allan Mustafa, Steve Stamp, Hugo Chegwin and Asim Chaudhry and executive produced by Ash Atalla, with Roughcut TV. Series 3 is comprised of six 30-minute episodes.

A group of failed DJs and MCs who are also best buddies work at Kurupt FM, a pirate radio station out of Brentford are at the center of in a show that has a strong shadow of The Office over it. The main cast includes Allan “Seapa” Mustafa (Tony “MC Grinder” Zografos), Hugo Chegwin (Kevin “DJ Beats” Bates), Lily Brazier (Miche), Licia Hedlund-Green (Angel), Daniel Sylvester Woolford (Decoy), Steve Stamp (Steven “Steves” Green), Asim Chaudhry (Chabuddy G) and others.

The show scored a Best Scripted Comedy nomination at the 2016 BAFTAs. It has garnered excellent reception, and is hailed for holding up the tradition of great British sitcoms.
