About the series
On August 20, 2016 Centric has launched a new emotional docuseries #My Current Situation: Atlanta. The show is executive produced by Jon Marc Sandifer and contains six one-hour episodes.
The show portrays three Atlanta women who hail from very different backgrounds.How do you reconcile the gap between the picture-perfect glossed-over image of your life that you project onto social media and the real life that you know is very different from that picture. These three courageous women found the strength to come out to their loved ones and reveal the truth about their complicated situations in an attempt to find peace of mind and give themselves a new chance.
Current season and possible renewal
An aspiring musician living out of her car, a pro-wrestler with a significant age difference with her partner, and a model with a perfect face that is not her own will attempt to resolve their struggles with the assistance and advice from psychotherapist and life coach Spirit. They will come clean to their loved ones with shocking revelations, and will see how support is crucial in carrying them through what may be the most difficult time in their lives. Tough decisions will have to be made, but viewers are hoping that these strong women will emerge even stronger and happier to make a clean start.
