New paranormal docuseries
An all-new addition to Destination America`s roster of supernatural-themed series, Haunted Case Files hails from the producers of Paranormal Survivor and debuted on August 28, 2016. The show is produced by Our House Media with Joe Houlihan, Simon Lloyd and Cathy Garland executive producing.
Each of the episodes features ghost hunters` recollections of their most amazing, dangerous and powerful supernatural experiences. As is typical for this kind of docuseries, recollections and interviews intertwine with dramatic recreations. Three paranormal investigation crews are featured, with Michelle Desrochers, Joe Cetrone, Karlo Zuzik, Ursula Bielski, George Acost Jack Kenna, and others sharing their experiences that took place over years and across the United States.
Average ratings and chances of renewal
The spine-chilling show joins the ranks of the ever-popular paranormal investigation docu-series, and apparently wants to appeal to the target audience tuning into ratings monsters like Ghost Hunters, but it is not exhibiting any signs of exemplar ratings strength. Haunted Case Files is airing with a very modest 0.08 rating in the most coveted 18-49 demographic, and under 0.3 million viewers per episode, which is not very impressive for a freshman installment. Will there be a second season of the show on Destination America? It is possible, but not necessarily guaranteed, since the numbers are neither dire, nor particularly strong. Stay tuned for the latest information on the fate of Haunted Case Files.
