Ratings and future prospects

The amiable series offers a rest from the intensity of many other shows currently broadcast, featuring a tight-knit group of friends and relatives. The current series opens with a renovated Dog and Dart Pub, which is now owned by Bradley, Tanya’s ex-hubby and Ella’s father with a criminal past. Other than that, it’s business as usual on this solid, heart-warming show. Mount Pleasant has a 7.3 IMDb score and has perfect chances of returning to the small screens in the future, although it has yet to be renewed for series 7.
