About the series

The veteran BAFTA-winning comedy chat show The Graham Norton Show has launched its 20th series on BBC One on September 30, 2016. Executive produced by Graham Stuart and produced by So Television and the BBC, the show used to air on BBC Two in 2007-2009, but was moved to BBC One in 2009 due to its popularity.

The show follows a format similar to Irish comedian Graham Norton’s other shows on Channel 4 – So Graham Norton and V Graham Norton. He interviews celebrities from various walks of life, discusses trending news topics, and performs comic sketches. There were regular music performances featured as part of hourlong episodes in the early BBC Two era of the show, and ever since very creative audience participation segments have replaced the music parts as an integral part of the series.

The Graham Norton Show is truly a classy fan favorite, with numerous admirers on both sides of the Atlantic. The current series has already introduced Justin Timberlake, Tom Cruise, Benedict Cumberbatch, Ben Affleck, Robbi Williams, Daniel Radcliffe, Danny DeVito as Norton’s guests, among others.
