Season 3 recap

Turn: Washington`s Spies has concluded its 10-episode third season on June 27, 2016. It has drawn 665,000 viewers and garnered a 0.19 demo rating, which is a series high. In fact, the third season is a rare instance in that it experienced a steady increase from the first to the final episode, however, overall it was not able to match the viewership of the first two installments. Continental Army captures John Andre and puts him on trial, while Judge Woodhull prosecutes Abraham for assault and conspiracy targeting Simcoe. Robert Townsend has had enough of spy life and intends to retire. Benedict Arnold is promoted in the Royal Army. Two of the defendants are hanged, but only one dies. The season ends with the Culper Ring still active, and Simcoe, Rogers and Hewlett still out and about. Most of the main characters` fates are resolved in the season finale, so if Turn: Washington`s Spies is renewed for a fourth season, there will be new storylines introduced.
