Show info and concept

10 Things is a new American comedy series that debuted on January 5, 2016 on truTV. It is produced by R83 Productions and Gaspin Media. The first season is set to contain ten episodes.

The host of the new series is Jamie Lee, a stand-up comedian previously seen on MTV`s Girl Code and Ridiculousness, as well as Conan and John Oliver`s New York Stand Up. The idea is to use the trending idea of a listicle, and taking it to the next level, providing hilarious irreverent commentary to lists of entertaining facts worthy of bringing up just for the sake of fun. The unique take on these surprising bits of information is sure to put a smile on the viewers` faces. The cutting-edge visuals add to the show`s charm.

Possibility of renewal

The idea of a listicle is a fad that seems to be everywhere. Every webpage you visit will offer you a link to follow where you`d find a list of items seemingly relevant to your search history: 21 funniest penguin jokes or 456 ways to fold your socks, or, perhaps 32 ways to get control of the TV remote in a big family. It is an entertaining, sometimes informative, often funny and easy-to-digest way to get information across to people. Will this format work well on television? It can easily go either way. Perhaps Jamie Lee will impress the audience with her charm and talent, and the show will enjoy high ratings, critical acclaim and will ultimately be renewed. For now the fate of the series is still undecided, so please stay tuned for the relevant news.
