About the series
My Cat from Hell is an American reality television series that follows cat behaviorist Jackson Galaxy as he resolves behavior issues in cats who could star in a feline version of Psycho. The series first aired in May 2011 and has had a very successful seven season run. My Cat from Hell season 8 premiered on Animal Planet on April 2, 2015.
Cats are great – they offer comfort, unconditional love and companionship to their guardians. But at times, a truly villainous cat can wreak havoc on a household, destroying furniture and belongings, sending its owners to the hospital and jeopardizing human relationships. Jackson Galaxy believes that to each cat there is an approach. His approach is to find what triggers a cat to misbehave and advise its guardians on ways to correct that behavior through understanding signals, territorial needs and specific requirements of each pet.

Galaxy has been very successful at approaching problem cats with genuine love, care and respect. The current season contains 10 episodes and features more terrifying felines and their owners seeking advice from Jackson Galaxy in order to make their lives together bearable. One cat decides to sharpen its hunting skills indoors, another experiences separation anxiety, still another is jealous of the newborn baby in the family… there is a lot of work for the expert to be done, so please tune in and find out whether all of these cases can be resolved peacefully.
My Cat from Hell has pulled in millions of viewers, offering them useful advice on correcting quirky, or downright crazy behavior in their favorite pets. It is not surprising, thus, that the series scores 7.8 out of 10 on IMDb and 8.7 on TV.com. No news has been released on the fate of the series, but considering the endless amount of inspiration, fans are hoping for a possible renewal of My Cat from Hell season 9.
