Summary and plot

Developed by Brian Michael Bendis and Charlie Huston, Powers is an American online police procedural drama that is based on the Marvel comic book series of the same name. A PlayStation Network original, Powers season 1 premiered on March 10, 2015 to mixed reviews. The second season debuted on May 31, 2016, when three of the episodes were made available, and the subsequent episodes are now being released on a weekly basis. The new season is set to contain 10 episodes and is available free to members of the Playstation Plus program.

Christian Walker, formerly known as Diamond, is a superhero turned police detective. Some time ago he had the ability to fly, which was taken from him by his mentor Wolfe. Instead of becoming bitter against his fate, Christian began working for the homicide division called Powers, where, together with his partner Deena Pilgrim, he investigates crimes committed by super humans, using his knowledge on the matter. The second chapter features detectives Walker and Pilgrim investigating the violent death of Retro Girl.
