Bloodline is a Golden Globe-nominated and widely critically-acclaimed American thriller and family drama television series that is available exclusively on the online streaming service Netflix. The intense drama series is yet another triumphant addition to Netflix’s original programming. Bloodline was developed and created by Todd A. Kessler (The Sopranos), Glenn Kessler (Damages), and Daniel Zelman (Fool`s Gold) who also serve as executive producers for the series and produced by Sony Pictures Television. Bloodline was first presented to the public on February 9, 2015, in the Berlinale Special Galas section of the 65th Berlin International Film Festival. Season 1 of Bloodline was launched in its entirety on Netflix on March 20, 2015.

A highly-anticipated season 2 of Bloodline was released in its entirety online around the globe to Netflix subscribers on Friday, May 27, 2016 at 12:01am ET/PT and it contains 10 hour-long episodes. The first installment of the thriller drama has received glowing reviews from audiences worldwide and has garnered critical acclaim having scored a handful of award nominations last year. A second chapter began with the Rayburn family having a hard time concealing their horrible crime as some people from Danny’s past surface with their own agenda. Law enforcement officers are close to unraveling the truth about Danny’s murder, and once close family ties are now poisoned by paranoia and distrust. Lies keep piling up and relationships are getting destroyed. When cornered, good people can do very bad things... Just six weeks after the release of the sophomore season of the highly-regarded Netflix original drama series Bloodline, the streaming company officially announced the renewal of the critically-acclaimed show for another round. A third chapter of the intense drama will also consist of 10 episodes that are slated to be released globally sometime in 2017. While the exact premiere date is unknown, many original cast members have already confirmed their return, including Kyle Chandler, Ben Mendelsohn, Sissy Spacek and Linda Cardellini.
