Series info and concept

Could I Live There? is a new American reality television series broadcast on Travel Channel since January 19, 2016. The series is produced by Karga 7 Pictures and is currently greenlit for thirteen 30-minute episodes.

Each episode of the series features a family faced with what is possibly the decision of a lifetime – whether or not to relocate to another country for professional reasons. Could I Live There portrays the families` acquaintance with various exotic locations that may become their home. One family, one city, one decision to make at the end of a three-day trip. The decision has to be revealed to the audience at the end of each episode.

Current season and renewal prospects

The first episode of the show will take a family to experience Istanbul, the second one whirls another family to Buenos Aires, other locations include Tokyo and Budapest. The three-day tours are custom built by relocation experts according to the requirements and lifestyle of each family in question.

The series opened to 276,000 viewers and a 0.11 rating in the 18-49 demo, the second episode attracted 219,000 viewers, and received a 0.07 rating. The most recent episode sank even lower. While the subject matter is not at all devoid of interest, something about the program is not working that well. The decision on Could I Live There might go either way, so be sure to stay tuned for any news.
