Stan Lee`s Lucky Man is a new British fantasy and criminal action television series that premiered on Sky 1 on January 22, 2016. The ten-part series is based on Marvel`s Lucky Man, a character created by the legendary Stan Lee. It is produced by Carnival Films and Television, and executive produced by Gill Champion, Richard Fell, Stan Lee, Gareth Neame, Beverley Booker and Anne Mensah.

Harry Clayton (James Nesbitt) is an out-of-luck London cop with a gambling habit, who wakes up with a bracelet on his wrist the morning after a one-night stand – and his life is completely changed all of a sudden. He becomes outrageously lucky, and that`s his unusual superpower – not flying at super speed, not turning into a wolf during full moon. The bracelet is the source of his newfound strength, and there are dark forces lurking around searching for it, as he is solving criminal cases There is also another important issue with this unbelievable luck – there is a price that has to be paid for it.

The premiere episode of Stan Lee`s Lucky Man fared rather well ratings-wise, with a 1.63 million audience. The second episode saw a drop to 1.23 million viewers. The reviews were rather supportive of the pilot, and full of hope for the series as a whole, but it seems like the enthusiasm was significantly curbed following the broadcast of the two subsequent episodes.
