About the series
Gamer`s Guide to Pretty Much Everything is a new American live-action teen comedy series that follows a video game prodigy named Conor. Created by Devin Bunje and Nick Stanton (Zeke & Luther, Turbo Fast), and produced by It’s A Laugh Productions, Inc, the series premiered on Disney XD on July 22, 2015. The current second season was launched on July 18, 2016.
In season 1 of Gamer’s Guide to Pretty Much Everything, Conor is a teenager and professional video game player, known as Kid Fury, who has taken the gaming industry by storm. But when he breaks his thumb during the singles final round of the World Gaming Pro Championship, his sponsors drop him and withdraw every free item he’s ever received. In a desperate move to regain his status, Conor recruits his new classmates Franklin, Wendell and Ashley to play the team part of the upcoming championship game. The foursome stage an elaborate plan to ditch school so that they can practice their game, but instead find themselves stuck in detention with the toughest teacher in school.

Riding the wave of video game popularity, Disney XD has brought the video game universe into a new dimension, integrating a typical teen comedy format with gaming visual effects in each episode. The premiere episode of Gamer’s Guide to Pretty Much Everything drew in an impressive 976,000 viewers, propelling the show to the number one spot in the network’s 15-plus year history. The second season of Gamer’s Guide to Pretty Much Everything kicked off with an exciting episode that featured a guest appearance by NBA Center Karl-Anthony Towns, which drew 478,000 viewers and a 0.08 demo rating. Other guests this season include David Barrera, Bianca Grava, Lauren Pritchard and many more.
