Basic info and cast

Stewarts & Hamiltons is an American reality documentary television series that follows the blended families of Alana Stewart and her children, as well as her ex-husband and now best friend George Hamilton. Produced by Bunim/Murray Productions, the series premiered on E! on July 26, 2015.

Stewarts & Hamiltons takes viewers inside the lives of Hollywood royalty. Chronicling the everyday life of a blended family, the show is literally a giant mash-up of a family. On one side we’ve got legendary actor, author and entrepreneur George Hamilton. On the other is the blended family of rock star Rod Stewart, who is also now divorced from Alana Hamilton Stewart. The show revolves around Alana, her children Kimberly Stewart, Sean Stewart and Ashley Hamilton. Following two divorces and countless tabloid headlines, the Stewarts & Hamiltons are now one big family where no one really worries who belongs to who.

Season 1 of Stewarts & Hamiltons consists of eight one-hour episodes and has opened to mixed reviews. While the premiere episode garnered nearly 1 million viewers, subsequent episodes have show a steady decline in ratings, with episode six — titled “Family Trippin” — drawing in just 300,000 viewers. Fans will have to wait and see whether E! decides to extend the family ties into another season. So far, the network has made no announcements regarding a possible Stewarts & Hamiltons season 2 comeback.
