Basic info and plot
Outlaw Chronicles: Hells Angels is a new American reality TV and documentary series that follows the most notorious motorcycle club in the world. Also known as “Outlaw Chronicles”, the six part docu-series debuted on the History Channel on August 18, 2015.
Outlaw Chronicles: Hells Angels centers on George Christie, a tattooed 68 year old former president of the most notorious motorcycle gang on the planet. Long known for their blood and gasoline soaked secrets, The Hells Angels are infamous for taking revenge on anyone who betrays the brotherhood. But George isn’t worried. He longs to tell what really goes on inside the bike culture from an insider’s perspective.
In season 1 of Outlaw Chronicles: Hells Angels, George peels back the curtain to reveal secret initiation rites, and plots of murders for hire. The series chronicles the rise of The Hells Angels from a ragtag collection of misfits and outlaws, into a bonafide multimillion dollar empire. Each episode explores different facets of the organization and culminates with the life of the man who has held the spotlight as the most famous Hells Angel — Sonny Barger. In the last episode Christie reveals how Sonny rose to power, expanded the club’s empire, and what ultimately led to Christie’s expulsion from the band of brothers he rode and fought with for over 30 years. Outlaw Chronicles: Hells Angels was a hit with viewers, but will it be enough to bring it back for season 3? Viewers will need to wait to find out.
