Janet King is an Australian legal and political television drama series airing on ABC1 since February 27, 2014. It is a spinoff from the 2011 Crownies drama, and follows Senior Crown Prosecutor Janet King (Martha Dusseldorp), and other characters featured in the original series, as well as a number of new characters. Janet King is presently in its eight-episode second season, which began broadcasting on March 24, 2016 on ABC AU after a long break. The series is executive produced by Greg Haddrick, Des Monaghan, David Oglivy and Carole Sklan and produced by Screentime.
