About the show

Two Doors Down is a British sitcom television series airing on BBC Two. It is currently in its premiere series, broadcast since April 1, 2016. The pilot episode was a New Year`s one-off 60-minute special which aired in 2015. The show is written by Gregory Sharp and Simon Carlyle, executive produced by Mark Freeland, Saurabh Kakkar, Steven Canny, Ewan Angus and Myfanwy Moore and produced by BBC Scotland. The show contains 6 half-hour episodes.

The series is set in Glasgow and portrays family troubles of both usual and the more quirky kind. At the focus of the series is a middle -aged couple, Beth (Arabella Weir) and Eric (Alex Norton), and their son Ian (Jamie Quinn), who is about to move in with his boyfriend Jaz. Their neighbors Cathy and Colin (Doon Mackichan and Jonathan Watson) live two doors down, while Christine and her teenage daughter Sophie are two doors down on the other side.
