The Ed Bassmaster Show is another one in a growing lineup of television programs that grew out of Youtube channels. It is produced by Tony DiSanto`s DiGa Vision with Adam Dolgins, Tom Gianas and Matt Trierweiler serving as executive producers. Originally the series` premiere was planned for 2015, but then CMT has decided to hold off until it could have been paired with The Dude Perfect Show. It has premiered on April 14, 2016.

Ed Bassmaster (Edwin Rodriguez) boasts 2 million subscribers and 523 million views on his Youtube channel. He performs pranks acting as one ofhis many characters that have become fan favorites over the years, since his debut on Youtube in 2008. The range of characters is very impressive, and includes Teste, Ed`s original alter ego, Skippy, the nerd with boundary problems, Mumbles, who`s known for his unintelligible accent, and many others. Celebrity appearances are also a part of the show.
