About the show
Big Brother: After Dark is a spin-off of the hit US reality series Big Brother, which was broadcast on Showtime 2 in 2007-2012, and airs on Pop since 2012. Big Brother`s companion show`s been on the air since 2007, and is currently in its 18th season, which premiered on June 24, 2016. It is executive produced by Allison Grodner and produced by Columbia Broadcasting System and Endemol Entertainment.
The show features the events that go on in the House in the evenings, between 9pm and 12 pm, which may arguably be the most exciting part of the day on the set. Basically it is unedited live feed of the participants` life after dark, so if you are a huge fan of the Big Brother reality drama, you are probably already watching all of this material online where it`s available to 24/7 subscribers.
Viewership and renewal prospects
The reality program has not experienced much ratings turmoil between last year`s chapter and the current season, hovering between 0.1 and 0.15 million viewers, and struggling to reach the 0.1 rating mark in the 18-49 demographic. The 3.9/10 IMDb rating also speaks for itself, but if you are a hardcore fan, why not tune in and see what the crew is up to. No renewal announcements have been made, but considering the fact that Big Brother: After Dark is a companion show, it`ll probably on for as long as Big Brother lasts.
