A spinoff of the popular US game show Family Feud, Celebrity Family Feud has originally aired in 2015. It’s current second season debuted on June 26, 2016. It is produced by FremantleMedia North America. The show is created by Mark Goodson and Bill Todman, presented by Steve Harvey and executive produced by Gabrielle Johnston, Toby Gorman and Gaby Johnston, and co-executive produced by Kristin Bjorklund and Brian Hawley.
The show follows the format of the syndicated version, with slight modifications. Each episode contains to separate games, and the Fast Money round played for $25,000 for the charity of the team`s choice. The current third season of the show features Snoop Dogg, Melissa Joan Hart, Tony Hawk, Alan Thicke, Sheryl Underwood and many other familiar faces.
Current ratings and renewal chances
The current season of the show premiered with an audience of 7.98 million viewers and averages 6.8 million viewers for the subsequent two episodes. There is some loss of viewership compared to the previous seasons, but it does not seem to be fatal, and the program is still very popular. Celebrity Family Feud has a 5.9/10 IMDb rating, and the viewers are mostly happy with the entertainment format. In fact, the show has received a 10-episode season order for the third installment, up from 6 episodes of the first and second installments. It does not look like the show is going to disappear from the TV schedule, but no renewal announcements have yet been made by the network.

The show has been renewed for a third season set to air next summer, even though the second season had a slower start than its impressive breakout debut in the summer of 2015, drawing an audience of 7.8 million viewers and a 1.5 demo rating.
