About the series
The spinoff of the wildly popular MTV program Wild `N Out, Nick Cannon`s Wild N` on Tour is a comedy docu-series that premiered on June 28, 2016 on MTV2. It is executive produced by Candida Boyettons, Michael Goldman, Nick Cannon and Paul Ricci and produced by Ncredible Entertainment.
The new series portrays the life of the comedy crew on the road, as they go out on tour to perform around the country. The cast for the current season includes: Nick Cannon, DeRay Davis, Darren Brand, DJ D Wreck, Rip Michaels, Hitman Holla, Chico Bean, Matt Rife, Karlous Miller, DC Young Fly and Conceited. They hit the road, and the television audience gets both a behind-the-scenes look at their activities and bits of their stage performances, along with the “extracurricular” activities such as excursions, making the most of the local cultures in the cities they visit, and just the general fun and games along the way.
Current season and possible renewal
The stand-up comedy and the games that Wild `N Out is famous for are all there for the fans to enjoy, so the show is likely to be popular among the fans of the original program. Wild `N On Tour has premiered with a 0.1 rating in the 18-49 demo and 0.266 million viewers, retaining over 0.2 million viewers for the next episode. Wild `N Out season 8 is scheduled to start on August 4, 2016, so the fans get to meet their favorite characters ahead of the premiere of the original show. The program`s future is not clear at this point, but if the viewership remains at the same level, it has a decent chance of being renewed. Stay tuned and find out.
