About the show
Henry Danger is an American sitcom television series that tells the story of a kid who gets a part-time job as a superhero’s sidekick and must keep the details of his new gig a secret. Created by Dan Schneider and Dana Olsen, season 1 debuted in two parts with the first episode premiering as a one-hour movie special on Nickelodeon on July 26, 2014. The rest of the series started airing on September 13, 2014.
When 13-year old Henry Hart lands a part-time job as Kid Danger, a sidekick to well known superhero Captain Man, he is forced to keep it a secret from his best friends Charlotte and Jasper, his parents, and younger sister Piper. Henry Danger was initially picked up by the network for just 20 episodes, but due to the show’s popularity was quickly renewed for a second season. Following a successful U.S. debut, the series expanded their viewership and fanbase to Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the U.K. and Ireland.
Season 2 of Henry Danger premiered on September 12, 2015 and is expected to be bigger and better than the previous. Plenty of drama will be dished and strong female characters will be featured. The show is also scheduled to air a special Christmas episode. With fairly strong ratings, Henry Danger may very well be picked up for season 3. Viewers will have to stay tuned to find out.

UPDATED March 4, 2016: Nickelodeon revealed over 650 upcoming episodes of animated and live-action series in every possible genre and targeting all existing kid and teen demos in its annual upfront presentation in New York City`s Lincoln Center. Among them is the teen favorite sci-fi comedy Henry Danger, which has been renewed for a third season. The previous run of the show was praised very highly and the ratings were strong, and there`s no reason to believe that this series will be any less successful.
UPDATED August 7, 2016: The official Henry Danger Twitter page has made the announcement regarding the release of the show’s highly anticipated third season. The upcoming installment of the teen sitcom is set to air very soon, in September 2016, exact date TBA. No further details of the storyline or possible cast additions have been revealed, so please stay tuned for relevant announcements and don’t miss the season premiere of Henry Danger.
