This article has the most up-to-date info on the status of Desi Rascals Series 3 as we continuously monitor the news to keep you in the know. Unfortunately, Sky1 has officially canceled the series. There will be no Series 3.

Desi Rascals is a British structured reality TV series that chronicles the lives of a multi-generational cast within London’s British Asian community. Broadcast on Sky 1 in the U.K., the show was created by Tony Wood, former producer of “The Only Way is Essex” and Grinder Chadha, director of “Bend It Like Beckham”. Series 1 was released on January 20, 2015 with series 2 returning to the network on September 9, 2015.

Desi Rascals documents the lives of West London’s hip and modern thirty-something British-Asian community members. The series is filmed in real time using social networks to allow cast members to interact with Sky Living viewers. Series 1 began with an initial twelve episodes broadcast over a period of six weeks. The show’s title is a play onwards of the British rapper, Dizzee Rascal.

Season 2 of Desi Rascals was commission immediately after the finale of the first series and the series trailer was released in mid July to generate additional buzz. Unlike the first series, the eight episode series 2 was broadcast on the main Sky Channel (Sky 1) rather than Sky Living. While some had described the series as something to “keep an eye on” and emphasized that the show busts the stereotypes of Asian culture, the show’s fate was sealed on October 15, 2015 when the network announced via their Twitter feed, and to the dismay of many fans, that there would not be a Desi Rascals series 3.
