Series cast and info
Big Easy Motors is a new History automotive reality series that’s been on the air since July 5, 2016. The show is executive produced by Shannon Biggs, Jairus Cobb, Russell Mc Carroll, Zach Behr, Nancy Glass, Eric Neuhaus and Edward Trent Robinson. The freshman season of the program contains ten 30-minute episodes.
The series features Charles Handler and his Louisiana-based crew at The Bomb Factory, a full-service car restoration shop that specializes in hot rods. The team turns classic found treasures into astounding custom-built masterpieces, and proceeds to sell them at an auction. If everything is done properly, significant profits can be expected. Besides Charles, the crew includes co-owner Trey, the mastermind behind the renovations, Chris, the chief mechanic, charismatic Benny and Devin who plays the trumpet after hours.
Viewership and potential renewal
Charles and Trey originally took up classic car renovations as a hobby, and step-by-step their favorite pastime grew into a successful full-time business, and now into a television series. The current viewership for Big Easy Motors hovers about the 1 million mark, with a 0.2-0.3 rating in the 18-49 demo. The 6.6/10 IMDb rating is a reasonable number, and all in all the show seems popular enough to last for some time. Its larger-than-life characters have already found a loyal fan following, and we may see another season soon. Inventiveness, creative approach to challenges and persistence demonstrated by the crew of The Bomb Factory are inspiring and enjoyable to watch.
