About the show

A British documentary TV series, 24 Hours in Police Custody has been on the air since 2014. The program is presently in its fourth series, which contains 6 episodes and debuted on Channel 4 on April 21, 2016. The Garden Productions is the company behind the series, which is related to the hit medical documentary series 24 Hours in A&E, the success of which compelled the network to commission a police series with a similar format.

The work of Bedfordshire Police in Luton is at the spotlight of the series. Over 80 fixed and moving cameras follow the men and women on the police force as they investigate criminal acts, respond to emergency calls, arrest potential suspects – all under a lot of pressure. DC Hart, Police Constable Kenneth Foster, DC Selena Humphreys are among the many officers portrayed on the program.
